A new beginning

On Sunday, July 30th (just yesterday) Casiguran Association USA (CAUSA) held their annual potluck picnic at the Veterans Park in Redondo Beach, Torrance California. It was a huge success with many new faces in attendance, another example of Vic Martires forte at work. There were lots of food, karakanan and chica-chica.

At about 2:00 pm, the president called the meeting in order and reported in brief the financial position of CAUSA with over $7,000 in cash.

Next up was the election of new set of officers and board of directors. After an hour or so, a new set of officers were elected. The following were elected on a popular vote to serve for two (2) years until 2008:
